MAGIC WALK OF FAME

Established in 2012, the Magic Walk of Fame honors several of the legendary magicians and industry pioneers with deep ties to the Magic Capital. The bronze stars can be found along E. State Street, in Colon's downtown area. The stars are maintained by the Downtown Development Authority.

BILL WATSON Magician and Master of Ceremony for many magic shows including the Abbott's Magic Get Together in 2002 and 2008.

HARRY BLACKSTONE SR. Performed around the world as the Great Blackstone and appeared at the Abbott's Magic Get Together in 1961

WILMA RENCH Organist for the Abbott's Magic Get Together for 5 decades.

PERCY ABBOTT Professional Magician and founder of Abbott's Magic Shop. Performed at the Abbott's Magic Get Together 13 times between 1934 and 1959

JESSE THORNTON Magician and creator of Magic Tricks at Abbott's Magic for many years. Performed at the Abbott's Magic Get Together in 1941 and 1942.

TERRY LEE GRACZYK Colon magician who traveled around the world.

GAY & HARRY BLACKSTONE Began his career in magic before his first birthday. Performed at the Abbott's Magic Get Together 22 times between 1964 and 1995.

KARL CARL Magician for over 60 years and author of many mainstream magic books.

MONK WATSON Performed magic with the U.S.O. and with Jack Benny. Performed at the Abbott's Magic Get Together 15 times between 1952 and 1979.

JACK & ANNE GWYNNE Known as the Royal Family of Magic, they performed at the Abbott's Magic Get Together in 1961, 1962, 1965, and 1969.

SUZY WANDAS Performed with her mother as the Wanda Sisters and performed at the Abbott's Magic Get Together in 1953 and 1961. She was one of the most skilled magicians (male or female) of her time.

WILL ROCK Known as the Modern Monarch of Magic.

RICHARD TANIS Known as the Children's Magician.

NEIL FOSTER Owner of the Chavez Studio of Magic and editor of Abbott's New Tops Magazine for many decades. Performed at the Abbott Magic Get Together 25 times between 1952 and 1986.

THE AMAZING CONKLINS A family of magicians known for their lavish shows, they appeared at the Abbott Magic Get Together 13 times between 1961 and 2003.

PAUL EMMICK The weatherman magician, Paul performed at multiple Abbott Get Together and was the meteorologist in Louisville, Atlanta, and Indiannapolis. Paul was a member of the screen actors guild and both I.B.M. and S.A.M. magicians societies.

HARRIET AND MICHAEL JACOBSON Husband and wife team who were wonderful supporters of the magical arts. Harriet was also the creator of beautiful custom magic-themed jewelry, and probably the lady you've all seen being asked to "pick a card" at the Get Together.
